I do not create many comments, however i did some searching and wound up here A Live Experience | CROSSHAIRS.

And I do have a few questions for you if it's allright. Is it just me or does it look like some of the responses appear like they are left by brain dead individuals? :-P And, if you are posting at additional places, I'd like to keep up with
everything new you have to post. Could you make a list of all of your public sites like your
linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?

simply placing the other person's weblog link on your page at appropriate place and other person will also do same for you.

I have yet to experience any of the problems mentioned on the show. Personally had an issue with sound and TeamSpeak for a bit but got that ironed out. Typically EA has always been slow to patch Battlefield games but when they do the patches are huge. Why? I have no idea but it is a pain. Some of the maps seems unfinished and could of been so much more while others are really fantastic.

The game will live or die with the upcoming DLC. If there is any...

Good cast stop in and say hi sometime Sam.

There is no "controversy" re PBBans.
What I saw posted in the Homefront forums was a little spat between members of BFROE (which was the forerunner of ROC)
Two ex members of BFROE are now valued members of PBBans staff and thats were the association ends.
PBBans is a third party anti cheat site that supports punkbuster enabled games using tools provided by Evenbalance.
We provide cheat related cvar/MD5 scans, PBSS reviews, demo reviews (were applicable) unique to PBBans cheat file matches and a ton of inhouse tools and features to assist server admins in keeping their servers free of cheaters.
PBBans banlists are publically available for any discerning admin to download and use and always will be.
There is not a lot to choose between PB and VAC as an anti cheat entity, but the third party anti cheat support provided by sites like PBBans, Punksbusted etc etc turn PB into a much more effective anti cheat than anything else out there.
Homefront does not have PB as an anti cheat deterent, ergo is not supported by PBBans.
The only thing that would stir interest from PBBans is if Homefront switched to punkbuster.
The spat on the Homefront forums did achieve one good thing, it made a game developer aware of how effective PB can be when coupled with a top notch third party anti cheat streaming service, so its not all bad :)
As far as I am aware, ROC is a reporting service and not a streaming service so we would never look on them as "competition" as such.
I hope that clears a few things up, PBBans is a hell of a lot more than a banlist compiler, and for the guy in the broadcast that thinks its "not rocket science" should maybe do a little homework before making a comment like that.

Rgr,

there is no controversy that you speak of,

we all have a job to do here without the in fighting between the AC community..

better to stick on topic here so that your players know what's going on with the ROC not PBBans..

"Giving people a dev kit, not just when the game releases, but before the game release... I don't think anyone has done that before."

Someone has done that before.
Unknown Worlds have with Natural Selection 2... dev kit released before the game was even Alpha and continually updated as the game progressed. Selected user created content will be included in the box of the game too.

Hey! Very interesting topic about the violent games. Here in Sweden you can't buy a 16+ game if you're 15. same with 18+ and so on. I did actually get annoyed when I was 17 and wanted to buy a 18+ game over the counter. And I guess I wasn't alone feeling this.

So when I was under 18 I could only buy the games through the internet. But theres no law that says you can't buy a 16+ game if you're not 16+. I think its just the stores who dosen't want to get in trouble if a underage boy/girl buy a game.

I'm actually against this at the same time I'm for it. Like you guys said. There are 12 years old boys sitting swearing and playing gears of war. Blood and gore. No thats not a game for a 12 year old. But when people are 17 and want to buy a 18+ it gets a little ridiculous.

What I would like to see is a reduced age limit. Also like you guys said. Movies are violent but you they got lower age limit, why so high on games then? interactive? yes, but not as realistic as in a movie.
